New Capital
The New Capital is a large-scale project of a new capital city in Cairo, Egypt that has been under construction since 2015.
The Location of the New Capital
The new capital city is located 35 KM east of Cairo of a total area of 170,000 feddan. The new capital city lies between the regional ring road, the Cairo/Suez and Cairo/Al Ain Sokhna roads.
The New Administrative Capital is located on the border of Badr city between Cairo/Suez and Cairo/Al Ain Sokhna roads, just after New Cairo.
The Design of the New Capital
The New Administrative Capital is a large-scale project of a new capital city in Cairo, Egypt that has been under construction since 2015. The design for the New Administrative Capital was created by the 5+ Consortium, which is made up of international firms.
The New Administrative Capital is set to be the new heart of Egypt, with government ministries, parliament, and civic institutions all being moved to the new city.
More than 70 percent of the construction on the New Administrative Capital has been completed, and it is set to be a smart and sustainable urban development that will introduce a new standard for capital cities around the world.

The New Capital is located in East Cairo, and it is scheduled to open around the year 2020. The state decided to develop the project through an Egyptian joint stock company in partnership between the armed forces and the New Urban Communities Authority.

Third District, R3
The third district is built on an area of 1000 acres.
It was divided into 8 main neighborhoods that contain many projects, which amount to 697 buildings, containing more than 19,944 housing units, 328 villas, and 157 buildings in the form of townhouses.
And 64 built in a distinctive architectural style, and it contains 2,560 housing units, 103,488 square meters of commercial and administrative units.
Fifth District, R5
The R5 neighborhood is located on an area of 1000 acres and is characterized by the name of the new Grand City, and it was designed in a modern French style.
The Fifth District contains more than 23,000 housing units, consisting of various housing units, in addition to residential towers that contain distinct hotel units.
The Fifth Residential District has many of the best projects in the New Administrative Capital, which provide many wonderful units, which are distinguished by their distinguished prices.
seventh Avenue

The government district is built on an area of 550 acres and consists of 34 buildings for ministries, a building for Parliament and a building for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
Among the most prominent ministries that will be transferred to the new administrative capital from downtown Cairo are: the Ministry of Military Production, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Awqaf, the Ministry of Housing, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Supply, and the Ministry of Health.
